Overview

At Emerald Isle Foods we are committed to operating very strict management controls and quality assurance programmes. To demonstrate our strong commitment to quality control and food safety we have completed a number of external quality audits. We have achieved certification to the following globally recognised Food Safety & Quality Management System Standards:

  1. ISO 22000;2005 
  2. FSSC 22000
  3. BRC

We are a quality focused enterprise whereby traceability is a central focus in our production processes. Emerald Isle Foods Ltd operates a full traceability scheme to ensure satisfaction of our quality standards.

We operate a detailed food safety management system in accordance with HACCP principles. All aspects of production and processing are monitored and controlled. To ensure best practice, we continuously monitor procedures, facilitate training and enforce improvements as identified.

We have strict guidelines in place for the supply of services such as laundry, cleaning, pest control, and laboratory. All service providers and suppliers are audited by our Quality Department. 

Senior Management considers our Food Safety & Quality policy annually. This ensures we achieve our company aims, aspirations and meet all legislative requirements.
